HIGH SCHOOL
EXTRA-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES
Students have access to facilities and spaces designed to encourage connection, participation, and a balanced school experience, including:
- Library
- Outdoor Amphitheatre
- School Hall
- Playground Areas
- Tuckshop Facilities
Each Grade phase of the school also has access to designated breaktime facilities and spaces appropriate to their age group. We recognise that students at different phases of their school journey develop socially and emotionally at different levels, and we therefore aim to create environments that are age-appropriate, comfortable, and conducive to positive social interaction.
The Grade 1's to Grade 3's participate in many friendly inter-school sporting events. The emphasis at this phase is truly on learning new sporting skills, new sporting disciplines and most importantly, enjoying yourself as you discover and enhance friendships through sports.
From Grade 4 to 7, our highly skilled Sports Staff begin to introduce our young sportsmen and sportswoman to more competitive sport. To this end, we participate in various Inter-School Leagues and also participate as a school in various Tournaments.
Children in Grade 7 who are too old to represent the school at the under/13 age group are invited to join the under/14 teams in the High school. This ensures that they do not miss out on any participation time.
From Grade 8 to Grade 12 we welcome the influx of sporting talent as we enroll new Grade 8's and Grade 9's into the school. The depth of our teams grows, resulting in our teams being highly competitive in the various Leagues and Tournaments in which we participate.
