We are a four-term school, but run our academic programme on three academic cycles.
At Pinnacle College Waterfall we assess the Students on a continuous basis so as to be able to remedy any areas of concern as soon as possible during each academic cycle.
Quality assurance: CAT Team and the comprehensive programme being run at school which looks at tracking “students at risk”, extra lessons provided during dedicated homework periods each afternoon to assist students to improve their results
Extra-mural Gr1-3

Foundation Phase | Grades 1 – 3
- A progress report is issued at the end of the 2nd and 4th Terms.
- These are supplemented by Parent Interviews.
- Parents Evenings are held in Term 1 and Term 2, while Student Lead Conferences are held in the 3rd Term.

Intermediate Phase | Grades 4 – 7
- A progress report is issued at the end of each of the Academic Cycles.
- Cycle 1 is based on continuous classwork assessments from Term 1 & Term 2
- Cycle 2 is based on continuous classwork assessments from Term 2 & Term 3.
- Cycle 3 is based on continuous classwork assessments from Term 3 & Term 4 and the Final Examinations at the end of the year.
