The IEB offers a wide variety of subjects and allows flexibility within the syllabus, making sure that examinations are in line with international requirements. The IEB is recognised at all tertiary institutions in South Africa and IEB learners are accepted at universities across the world.

Assessments and Reports 


We run our Academic Programme on three Academic Cycles.

 

At Pinnacle College Kyalami we assess the students on a continuous basis to be able to remedy any areas of concern as soon as possible during each Academic Cycle. 


High School Grades 8 – 12

 

  • A progress report is issued at the end of each of the Academic Cycles.
  • Cycle 1 is based on continuous classwork assessments from Term 1 & Term 2
  • Cycle 2 is based on continuous classwork assessments from Term 2 & Term 3 and the Mid-Year Examinations.
  • Cycle 3 is based on continuous classwork assessments from Term 3 & and the Final Examinations at the end of the year.
  • Matric Students write an additional set of Preliminary Exams.

 

Parents Evenings are held in Term 1 and Term 2, while Student Lead Conferences are held in the 3rd Term.
