About Us

Our Vision

A school with YOU at its core – offering an excellent education that is competitively priced while ensuring a meaningful student learning experience.

Our History

Pinnacle College Kyalami, previously known as Summit College and Puteng Nest, was established as part of the NEST (new era schools trust) by two progressive champions of equal education, Messrs. Deane Yates and Steyn Krige. Their vision, in the 1980’s, was to establish an inclusive private school network that would offer all, regardless of race, culture, faith or economic background, a quality education.

Their vision was to use the NEST schools to not only transform education, but society itself, and we believe that Pinnacle College Kyalami made a small but noticeable mark, not only on education over the years, but also on society more broadly.

With each of the promises, we make...

“The Pinnacle Colleges M&C Commitment”

M: MEASURE

We measure our success via student input/assessment—a slick non-time-consuming system.

C: COMMUNICATE

We use the measured data to communicate the “student climate” via a regular PRC—” Principals’ Report Card” to students and parents. PRC is a regular barometer type report that goes out to the community.

Leadership Development

At Pinnacle College Kyalami, we endeavour to inspire our students to recognise their ability to lead through positive action. At the same time, we aim to identify the positive attributes in our students that hint at their instinctive ability to mentor and guide their peers towards becoming fully involved and committed members of our student community.

There are many leadership roles in which our students can participate and thrive.
